UAE TO CELEBRATE EMIERATI WOMEN’S DAY
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – On Wednesday, 28th August, the UAE will celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, an annual event that celebrates inspiring women, supported by the government and welcomed by the community.
Emirati Women’s Day coincides this year with the Federal National Council, FNC, election, which will witness considerable progress in terms of women’s participation, following the decision to raise the parliamentary participation of women to 50 percent.

Riyadh, SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi Arabia has begun allowing adult women to travel without permission and to exercise more control over family matters, state news agency SPA, reported on Tuesday, following a flurry of royal degrees approving the changes.
