Not only is Chrissy Teigen known for her refreshingly honest Twitter account, but also the glamorous Red Carpet looks that seem to give her a permanent place on The Best-Dressed lists at every event she attends.
The annual Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles on November 9 was no exception for the American model turned television host and cookbook author.
Teigen floated down the carpet in a delicate pastel green gown from Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika’s Fall/Winter 2019/2020 Haute Couture collection.
The one-shoulder dress with exquisite beading and a thigh-high slit was completed with a sheer cape that blended into a flowing train, fulfilling every goddess fantasy we dream to have one day. Taking the dazzling details one step further, Teigen accessorized the ensemble with long Jennifer Meyer diamond earrings, silver stilettos, and a matching metallic box clutch.
The Los Angeles – based non-profit foundation dedicated to providing basic necessities to children in poverty honored Teigen with the Giving Tree Award at the celebrity-filled fundraising event in honor of her philanthropic work with Baby2Baby.
As a devoted admirer of Middle Eastern Fashion Houses, this is not the first or second time Teigen has donned an Arab designer for an awards ceremony. Through the years, she was worn Egyptian label Maison Yeya, UAE-rooted brand SemSem, and Saudi-born designer Yousef Akbar as well as celebrated Lebanese couturier of the stars Zuhair Murad for countless occasions, such as the Oscar, Emmys, and the Golden Globes including an unforgettable pastel blue long-sleeve beaded gown at the 87th Annual Academy Awards.
