It’s the most wonderful time of the year…Swarovski has revealed its official holiday collection for 2019 and out wish lists are suddenly full. Waiting for the unveiling of Swarovski’s glittering festive collection each year is one of those traditions we’ve come to know and love at Alkassandra, so if you’re anything like us then it’s time to hand those stockings.
This year, the brand’s Christmas line is bolder and more beautiful than ever before, featuring a contemporary take on jewel tones, including blue and purple, with pops of dark, festive green. Also in the collection are black and white styles that present a modern, monochromatic approach to holiday dressing. Jewellery has been crafted in a range of metals, including gold, silver and rose gold, meaning there is truly something for everyone.
The collection, aptly named “Naughty or Nice” aims to celebrate every modern women, whether they identify as “naughty” or “nice” and features a range of jewellery, accessories, gift sets and watches. On our wish lists already is the Chrystal Rose watch, which features 215 Swarovski crystals and come in gold, silver and rose gold. For those who want to identify as “nice”, select from artfully crafted necklaces, earrings, or chokers in all-white gold and Swarovski crystals, featuring a gorgeous feather motif. For those feeling “naughty”, the motif takes turn with black Swarovski crystals set in golden hues. Not sure? Swarovski has created its own Nice-o-meter which can be viewed in store to help you select which side of yourself you’d like to reveal this Christmas.
Swarovski’s creative director, Nathalie Colin, says of the collection: “The holidays are a brilliant time of the year, to dress up and to give to others. It’s also the perfect excuse to treat yourself to those must-have items you’ve has on your wish list all year! This season, we want to celebrate in style with sparkling silhouettes that will dial up the glamour of the holidays and create brilliant moments for all”.
