Romanian-Jordanian designer Amina Muaddi has expanded her footwear empire by adding jewelry and handbag pieces to her new Fall 2020 Collection.
Muaddi, who is best known for her signature flared heels, has rapidly become of the most sought-after footwear designers in the world, with a host celebrity clients including Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as Rihana, who see recently collaborated with. Now, in addition to her stunning show creations, the Paris -based designer has unveiled two distinctive new designs to her Fall 2020 collection: the Amini handbag, and crystal-embellished Begum earrings.
The designer previously revealed her intensions of expending her footwear brand in September, teasing fans by releasing a series of images of the Amini handbags being manufactured. The rectangular, boxy-styled handbag comes in several different colorways, textures, and sizes, including a fuschia-pink satin or a traditional black leather.
The statement Begum earrings (which come in two sizes) are named after the hugely popular Begum heel and hold the signature sunburst jewel. All of Muaddi’s creations are featured in the lookbook for her new collection, photographed by Morocco-born, Belgian-raised photographer Mous Lamrabat.
Despite the challenging year, Muaddi’s designs have proved consistently popular across the globe. This year has seen her business go from strength-to-strength, creating a successful ‘pandemic-proof’ collection, which she launched at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, as well as most recently launching her second shoe collection with Fenty. The first Amina Muaddi x Fenty collaboration, which launched in June, become one of the most desired collection of 2020. It was met with critical acclaims with Muaddi receiving the Collaborator of the Year award, at the 34th edition of the FN Achievement Awards, dubbed the Shoe Oscar.
