FASHION | Queen Rania Makes A Case For Color Blocking In An Outfit By These Lebanese Couturiers

Her Majesty Queen Rania isn’t one to shy away from a colorful ensemble, as she is often spotted in bold-hue dress in purple, red, and blue. This time perfecting the trend of color blocking while showcasing her strong relationship with Arab designers, Her Majesty Queen Rania wore a royal blue skirt by Azzie & Osta paired with a golden satin blouse with a high neck.

The floor-grazing skirt had been embroidered with goldwork to create motifs in a zig-zag pattern mirroring the traditional Jourdanian kaffiey scarf and was gifted to Her Majesty by the Lebanese couturier duo. The royal wore the ensemble to the dinner banquet held in honor of the Norwegian King and Queen, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja, in Amman, Jordan.

While Her Majesty does make headlines for always wearing outfits that define elegance and inspire the wardrobes of many, she is also known to repurpose a good skirt or dress by styling it in a whole new way. Last year, the Queen attended the fourth ordinary session of the 18th Parliament in Amman in a purple-colored midi dress by Ellery Conard styled with a red Givenchy handbag and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps. The dress was first worn by Queen Rania in September 2017 when she visited one of the exhibition by the Jordan River Foundation when she had it paired with a tan leather belt by Rag & Bone.
