ROYALS | Kate Middleton Opens Up About Feeling Isolate As A New Mom

As the drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure seems to have slowed down, royal life continues apace. Today, Duchess of Cambridge visited a parenting center in Cardiff, Wales – part of a whirlwind tour she’s doing to promote her new countrywide survey on early childhood – and open dip about her parenting struggles.

When Middleton gave birth to Prince George, the family had not yet settled into their home in Kensingtom Palace. Instead, they were living in Anglesey, Wales, where William was schedule was though for  a new mother, Middleton admitted.

It was the first year and I’d just had George – William was still working with search and rescue – and we came up here and I had a tiny, tiny baby in the middle of Anglesey. It was so isolated, so cut off. I didn’t have any family around, and he was doing night shifts. So if only I had had a center like this”, she said.
