
The General Directorate of Passports has announced the suspension of travel citizens and expatriates to the People’s Republic of China, within the framework of the health procedures adopted in Saudi Arabia to prevent the novel coronavirus.
‘Trips to China by citizens or (foreign) residents are suspended in accordance with the preventive health measures the Kingdom had adopted against the virus’, the official SPA news agency said.
The Passports Department pointed out that regulatory provisions of travel documents will be applied to all citizens who violate the travel suspension, and in the event that one of the expatriates the travel suspension to China, he will not be allowed to return to the Kingdom’.
Elsewhere in the Gulf, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman have advised their citizens against all travel to China.
