FASHION ISSUES | Hermes Launches Its First-Ever Digital Flagship Store In Saudi Arabia

From its line of stylish hijabs to pieces that work perfectly for customers into the more modest of fashion statements, Hermes has been focusing much more on catering to the region’s contemporary woman. Now, the luxury brand is taking a key step further by launching its first flagship digital store in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, a dedicated e-commerce platform that is in essence the Parisian’s fashion house’s first retail outlet for the Kingdom and the UAE.

This online store will be hosted on www.hermes.com, offering Saudi shoppers a more tailored experience with regards to the collections, page content, and overall narrative. Indeed, the digital experience has been conceived and designed to provide Saudi shoppers the same experience as Hermes’ physical stores, offering luxurious aesthetics and ambiance, a wide selection of all that is glamorous, chic, iconic, and comfortable, and top-notch services.

This new site will also combine its e-commerce capabilities with specially curated content such as cultural programs and regional events, and it will showcase the brands sustainability-centric initiatives and projects such as Empreintes Sur le Mode (translated to Footsteps Across the World in English) films by Frederic Laffont, and award-winning French writer, producer, and director. Through this collection of films, Laffont reveals with humanistic perspective our unique relationship to sustainable development.

The digital world has become an increased focus for Hermes this past year. In fact, at the start of October, the fashion house launched the Hermes Spring-Summer 2021 Women’s Ready-to-Wear Collection live at Paris Fashion Week, allowing fans of the brand to stream the show online and catch the luxury brand’s latest designs.
